The Community First Responder (CFR) scheme is entirely voluntary so opportunities to raise funds are vital to ensure the local community continues to benefit from the scheme.

All CFRs are unpaid volunteers and the equipment they carry is very expensive. There are also costs associated with maintaining the equipment and a high level of on-going training.
